How Does Sids Happen

Experts believe SIDS occurs at a particular stage in a babys development and that it affects babies vulnerable to certain environmental stresses. Basically SIDS is most likely to happen to a baby whose mother is younger than 20 years.

How does sids happen. The model holds that SIDS occurs when three conditions exist simultaneously. Infants who are exposed to secondhand smoke after birth are also at greater risk for SIDS. Most unexpected deaths occur while the child is asleep in their cot at night.
